ORDINANCE NO. 3914
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
PERSONAL :PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED by 'the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I: That the following item of personal property be appraised and
sold by the Board of Public Works and Safety for not less than the full
appraised value thereof:
160 Shares of the Stock of South Bend Manufacturing Company
SECTION II: That the Judge of the St. Joseph Circuit Court be requested to
appoint three (3) disinterested freeholders of the City of South Bend, Indiana
to appraise said property hereinabove described,
SECTION III: That the Board of Public Works and Safety, subject to such
terms and conditions as said Board shall determine, shall sell and deliver
said property to any purchaser or purchasers thereof upon the payment of the
purchase price in full but for not less than the full appraised value thereof.
SECTION IV: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.

We, ROBERT G. HAPP, PERCY H. WALSH and WILLIAM S. MOORE do solemnly
swear that we will give a true and just valuation of all the right, title and
interest of the City of South Bend, Indiana in and to the following described
personal property located in St. Joseph County, Indiana, to -wit:
One Hundred and Sixty (16D) Shares of
the Stock of South Bend Manufacturing
Company, an Indiana Corporation.
