AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMddONLY
KNC17N AS THE ZONING CRDINAT?CE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
Section I, Ordinance No. 3702, being the zoning ordinance of
the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby is, amended
ao that the zoning classification of the following described real
estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, to -wit:
Lots One (1), Tivo (2) and Three (3) Whitcomb &
Keller's Beverly Heights First Addition, be
changed from "C" Commercial and "D" Height and
Area District to "B" Residential and "A" Height
and AArea District.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, approval by the
Mayor and legal publication.

Gentlemen:
The petition of Paul H. Anderson et al., for change of zoning
of Lots No. 1, 2 and 3 in Whitcomb anu -iellerfs Beverly Heights
First Addition on the east side of S. Main Sto south or West
Donmoyer Ave. which aru occupied by single residence houses,
from C" commercial ana D" Height anu Arca aistrict to B" r�sia-
ence anu A" Height ana Area districts, has been given public
hearing before the City Plan Commission at a special meeting on
June 12, 1952.
This change is recommvnued as petitioned for, no remonstrances
or objectors.

Councilman Korpal made a motion that the petition be
referred to the City Plan Commission. Councilman Glass
seconded the motion. Motion carried.

To The HONORABLE COUNCIL for the City of SOUTH BEND:-
We the undersigned property owners hereby petition your honorable
body for a change in the zoning of our property from light industrial to
Class B Residential; this zoning affecting Lots 1, 2 and 3 Whitcomb &
Keller Beverly Heights First Addition. All of the properties herein
affected are now improved with single family residences. These homes
have all been built since 1941, and we would like our zoning to conform
with the other residences in the neighborhood which are now zoned Class B
Residential.
