AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE

Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana;
Section 1
That Ordinance No. 3702, adopted by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, on the 13th day of June, 1949, and
commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby
amended as follows, to -wit:
That the property situate in the City of South Bend, Indiana,
and described as follows, to -wit:
All of Lot Numbered Fifteen (15) as shown
on the recorded plat of J. G. Bartlett's
First Addition to the City of South Bend,ex-
cepting a parcel of ground Thirty -four (34)
feet in width taken off of and from the en-
tire west end of said lot.
be changed from "C" Commercial Use District and "C" Height and Area
District to "C" Commercial Use District and "E" Height and Area dis-
trict.
No other provision save and except as to the tract herein
bounded and described shall be changed hereby.
Section 2
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and legal publication.

hearing before the City Plan Commission at their
Regular Meeting April 3, 1952.
This ehange is recommended as petitioned for.
This property is at the south west corner of
North Michigan Street and Bartlett Street.
No change is called for in the use district which
is C commercial.

Petitioners, Carl J. Rudolph and Hazel Gertrude Rudolph, hus-
band and wife, and Sinclair Refining Company, a corporation, individually
and by their attorneys, Voor, Jackson, Grant & McMichael, respectfully
petition that Ordinance No. 3702, dopted by the Common Council on the
13th day of June, 1949, and commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, be
amended as follows, to -wit:
That the property situate in the City of South Bend, Indiana,and
described as follows, to -wit:

the City of South Bend, excepting
a parcel of ground thirty -four (34)
feet in width taken off of and from
the entire west end of said Lot.

trict to "C" Commercial Use District and "E" Height and Area District.
Petitioners further state that they have attached hereto a form of
ordinance for the convenience, use and approval of the Common Council of
the City of South Bend.
WHEREFORE, Petitioners respectfully request that the Common
Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, accept and act favorably upontheir
said petition and that the property herein described be, by proper ordinance,
duly passed and legally published, changed from "C" Commercial Use Dis-
trict and "C" Height and Area District to "C" Commercial Use District and
"E" Height and Area District.
