Organizational Meeting
Derek Dieter, Chair of the Residential Neighborhoods Committee, conducted a brief organizational
meeting to review 2014 and set goals for 2015.
The report of activities of the Residential Neighborhoods Committee during 2014 is on file in the City
Clerk's Office.
For 2015 suggestions Tim Scott felt the recently initiated walks through the neighborhoods were a good
way to connect with constituents concerns and should be continued in 2015.
Dr. David Varner, emphasized the value of a focus on neighborhoods because so much emphasis is often
on downtown development at the expense of neighborhood issues.
With a pledge to keep neighborhoods on the front burner, Derek adjourned the meeting at 5:18 P.M.
