South Bend's non - emergency citizen service line- 311 —is now using a real -time mobile civic engagement tool called CitySourced. CitySourced is a free smartphone app that is being beta - tested to allow residents to identify issues such as potholes, graffiti, and uncollected trash, and report them to 311. The app allows residents to submit pictures, video, and audio of the issue that needs to be addressed. Residents can also track their requests and see those submitted in other areas. Search "South Bend 311" in the Apple, Android, and Google Play App Stores to find and download the free app. While the City continues to build a strong and vibrant future, 2015 is also a year to honor its past. The South Bend 150 committee continues to look for Celebration Partners. Are you involved in organizing events in your neighborhood, church, school, or workplace? Consider becoming a part of the yearlong anniversary festivities by weaving the SB 150 theme, logo, and mission into your organization and activities. There will be hundreds of events, activities, exhibits, lectures, performances, and more across our community throughout the year.
