BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The following money be, and the same hereby
is, transferred from Account Number 251, Repair of Build-
ings and Structures, Park haintenance Fund, to and is
appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following
budgetary item in the budget of the Park Maintenance
Fund of the City of South Bend for the year 1947, to -wit;
To Account Number 43, I•iaterials, Drives and Walks, Park
Maintenance Fund, $2,070.00; and the following money be,
and the same hereby is, transferred from P -11, Salaries
and Wages, Police Department, to and is appropriated for
the uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in
the budget of the City of South Bend for the year 1947,
to -wit; To P -342, Laundry and Cleaning, Police Department,
$80.00.
2. The above funds are reouired for the proper
operation and function of the aforementioned departments
and an emergency is declared to exist concerning each of
the foregoing transfers and appropriations.

from and after its passage by the Common Council, its appro-
