BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South, Bend, Indiana, that;
1. The following monies be, and the same hereby
are, transferred from the General Fund of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, to and are appropriated for the
uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in
the budget of said city for the year 1947, to -wit; To
H -13, Other Compensation, Board of Public r;7orks and
Safety, $6,018.80; to H -251, Repairs of Buildings and
Structures, Board of Public Works and Safety, ;'500.00;
and the following money be, and the same hereby is;
transferred from J -12, Salaries, Sewer Department, to
and is a.prropriated for the uses and purposes of the
following budgetary item in the budget of said city for
the year 1947, to —wit; to J -451, Repair of Parts and
Equipment, Sewer Department, ?`'450.00.
2. The above funds are required for the proper
operation and function of the aforementioned department.
and an emergency is declared to exist concerning each of
the foregoing transfers and appropriations.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
its approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all
statutory requirements relating to emergency appropria-
tions.
