The January 22, 2015 Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council was called
to order by Council President Tim Scott at 5:32 p.m. in the Council's Informal Meeting Room.
Persons in attendance included Council Members: Karen L. White, Tim Scott, Henry
Davis, Jr., Dr. David Varner, and Derek D. Dieter; Attorney Robert J. Palmer, and Council
Attorney Kathleen Cekanski - Farrand.
Council President Scott noted that the Executive Session was called pursuant to the "Notice
of Executive Session" dated January 20, 2015 (attached) which states in part that the meeting is
being held pursuant to Indiana Code § 5- 14- 1.5 -6.1 (b)(2)(B) for the discussion of strategy with
respect to pending litigation.
This is to certify that the only subject matter discussed at this Executive Session was that
contained in the January 20, 2015 "Notice of Executive Session ".
Council President Oliver J. Davis adjourned the meeting at 6:15 p.m.

An Executive Session of the South Bend Common Council will be held at
5:30 p.m. on Thursday January 221h, 2015, in the Council's Informal
Meeting Room, 4th Floor, County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana.
The Executive Session is being called pursuant to Indiana Code §5-14-1.5 -
6.1(b) (2) (B) for the discussion of strategy with respect to pending litigation.
