ORDINANCE NO. 3 6 /S—
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South_Bend, Indiana, that;
I
1. The following monies be and the same hereby
are, transferred from P -11, Salaries and Wages, Police
Department, to and are appropriated for the uses and
purposes of the following budgetary items in the budget
of the City of South Bend for the year 1947, to -wit;
To P -252, Repair of Equipment, Police Department,
$4,000.00; to P -331, Gasoline, Police Department,
$3,600.00; to P 333, Tires, Police Department, $1,200.00;
to P -38 General Supplies, Police Department, $400.00;
to P -343, Laundry, Police Department, $80.00; to P -243,
Photography and Blue Printing, Police Department, $100.00;
to P -36, Office Supplies, Police Department, $200.00.
2. The above funds are required for the proper
operation and function of the aforementioned department
and an emergency is declared to exist concerning the fore-
going transfers and appropriations.

3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
