AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TAX LEVY FOR THE

BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. That there be and hereby is levied.the
following amounts for the year 1948 on each One Hun-
dred Dollars ($"100.00) of assessed valuation of pro-
perty in the City of South Bend, Indiana, as fixed by
the officers of St. Joseph County and the State of
Indiana, for the objects named:
General Fund
Bond Fund
Street and Traffic Fund
Park Maintenance Fund
Park District Fund
Firemen's Pension Fund
Police Pension Fund
Hospital Fund
Debt Poor.

2. There shall be levied a Poll Tax of Fifty
Cents (50¢) on every male inhabitant of said city, sane
and not a pauper, of the age of twenty -one years and
not over the age of fifty years.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after it*passage mmon Council
