AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM
P -11 POLICE DE-

BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The following monies be, and the same
hereby are, transferred from P -11 Salaries and Wages,
Police Department, to and are appropriated for the
uses and purposes of the following budgetary item
1n the budget of the City of South Bend for the
year 1947, to -wit: To P -726, Other Equipment,
Police Department, $2,400.00.
2. The above funds are required for the
proper operation and function of the aforementioned
department and an emergency is declared to exist
concerning the foregoing transfer and appropriation.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common
Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
ment of all statutory requirements relating to emer-
gency appropriations.
