The following monies be,and the same hereby are, transferred from 4x-11, Salaries and Wages, Fire Department, to and are appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary, item in the budget of the City of South Bend for the year 1947, to -wit;, To 4 -724,. Motor Equipment, Fire Department, $4,000.00. 2. The above funds arerequired for the pro- per, operation and function of the aforementione& de- partment and an emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfer and appropriation. 3.
