BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, that:
1. The following monies be, and the same here-
by are, transferred from the General.Fund.of the City
of South Bend, Indiana, to and are appropriated for the
irises and purposes of the following budgetary items in
the budget of said city for_the year 1947, to -wit :. ft

Q -38, General Supplies Fire Department, ;$500,00; to
W -11, Personal Services and Nurse Hire, Health Depart
ment, $733.28; to H -251, Repair of Building, $3,000.00;
to H -51, Insurance, $1,000.00; to X -31, Food, Dog Pound,
$50.00.
2. The above funds are required for the proper
operation and function of the aforementioned departments
and an emergency is declared to exist concerning each of
the foregoing transfers and appropriations.

3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
Its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all
stat /Iutory requirements relating to emergency appropri-
