An Ordinance providing for the annexation of
certain territory to the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the following described
territory in St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, be
and the same is hereby annexed to and shall constitute
hereafter a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Beginning at the intersection of the
present boundary line of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, which runs para-
llel to and Northwesterly of South
Bend Avenue, and the present boundary
line of said City, which runs parallel
to and East of Twykenham Drive, thence
due North to the North line of Section
Six (6), Township Thirty -seven (37)
North, Range Three (3) East; thence
East along said North line to the
Northeast corner of said Section;
thence South along the East line of
said Section to the present bounda
line of said City; thence Wes bound
line
said boundary line to the place of
beginning; all being in the North-
east Quarter of said Section 6, Town-
ship 37 North, Range 3 East.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and legal
publication by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana.
