AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROK THE GENERAL FUND
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDTAKA, OF THE FOLLMING
ANOWU TO.THE FOLLOWING.INDICATE'D ACCOUNT OF THE
1947 BUDGET,. CITY MRCTION BOARD, #100611929* AND
DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCYe
WHRREASy the budgetary account of the City of South Bend, Indiana, in
the budget for the calendar year of 1947s was insufficient to pay the
necessary costs and expenses of the Primary and General Election and
Registration of Voters for the City Primary and General Election held in
the year 19471 now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
that t
Section 1* . There be and there is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the uses.and purposes of eying
the claims referred to in the preamble of this Ordinances of the following
1947 budgetary items., in the following amounts toowitt

Section 2e The Common Council finds the existence of an extraordinary
emergency. requiring the appropriation of the funds as aforesaid*
Section 8* This ordinance shall be in full.foroe and effect from and
after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor# and
the fulfillment of.all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary
appropriations*
