AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $68 #00 FROM
ACCOUNT NUMBER R-380 GENERAL SUPPLIES* WEIGHTS AND
MEASURES, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER R -2628 REPAIRS OF EVIP-
MENT, WEIGHTS AND i trRES; AND TRANSFERRING THE
SUM OF $41#00 FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER R-333, TIRES AND
TUBES, WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER R -262,
REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT, WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, AND
DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY*
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Section le That the sum of $68000 be, and the same hereby is,
transferred from Account Number $-38, General Supplies$ Weights and
Measures, and the sum of $41.00 from Account Number R«333, Tires and
Tubes, Weights and Measures, to, and are hereby appropriated for the
uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in the budget of
the Weights and Measures Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
for the year 1948, toraits
Weights and Measures:
Account Number R -2620 Repairs of Equipment $ 99e00
Section 2e That the above sums of money are required for the
proper operation and function of the aforementioned Department of the
Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary
emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfers and
appropriations*
Section 3# That this ordinance sha11 be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor, and the .fulfillment of all/statutory requirements relating
to extraordinary emergency appropriations*
