AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FRO!" THE GENERAL
STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND OF THE CI`T'Y OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, OF T'HE FOLLOI' IivG AI OUNT TO TINS;
FOLLOWING INDICATED ACCOUNT OF THE 1948 BUDGET:
STREET DEPARTMENT, S - 7111 PROPERTIES, $70,000.00,
AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EIIERGl Tt Y.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, that:
Section 1. There be and there is hereby appropriated
from the General Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, for the uses and purposes of the following
indicated account of the 1948 Budget, to -twit:
Street Department, S - 711, Properties, the sum
of Seventy Thousand ($701000.00) Dollars.
Section 2. The Common Council finds the existence of
an extraordinary emergency requiring the appropriation of the
funds as aforesaid.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Kayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements relating to emergency appropriations.
