An Ordinance Providing for the Annexation of Certain Territory
to the City of South Bend, Indiana
(Belleville Unit A Proposed)
Be It Ordained by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana;
Section 1. That the following described territory in St. Joseph County,
State of Indiana, be and the sane is hereby annexed to and shall constitute here-
after a part of the City of South Bend, Indiana,
Beginning at the point of intersection of the North line of
Western Avenue and the presently existing ?Zest city limits
line, thence running South on said presently existing VJr est
city limits line to the North line of Sample Street, thence
lVest along the North line of Sample Street (which said line
is also the presently existing city limits line) to the
intersection of said North line of Sample Street and the
West line of Section Nine (9), Tovinship Thirty —seven (37)
North, Flange Two (2) East, thence North along the hest line
of said Section Nine (9) to the intersection of said West
line and the North line of 11,estern Avenue, thence East along
said North line of Western Avenue to the point of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and legal .publication by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana,
