AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED
($500,00) DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, TO THE FOLLOWING INDICATED
BUDGETARY ACCOUNT C,436, OFFICE SUPPLIES, OF THE
1948 BUDGET IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, AND
DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY*
YWHEREAS, certain budgetary account in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City of South Bend, Lndiana, in the budget for the
calendar year 1948 was insufficient to fulfill the demands of the
operation of the said office because of price increases and other
needs; therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, that:
Section is There be and there is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the uses and
purposes of the following budgetary account, to -wit: 0-36, Office
Supplies, of the 1948 budget, Office of the City Clerk, the sum of
Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars,
Section 26 The Common Council finds the existence of an extra«
ordinary emergency requiring the appropriation of the funds as afore-
said,
Section 3# This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by t he Mayor,
and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to extra"
ordinary appropriations*
