ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL
STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, OF THE FOLLOWING AMOUNT TO THE
FOLLUVING INDICATED ACCOUNT OF THE 1948 BUDGET:
STREET DEPARTMENT, 3-539 REFUNDS, AWARDS AND
INDEMNITIES, $2,000.00, AND DECLARING AN EXTRA-
ORDINARY EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, of the CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA, that;
Section 1. There be and there is hereby appropriated
from the General Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, for the uses and purposes of the following
Indicated account of the 1948 budget, to -wit:
STREET DEPARTMENT;
S -539 REFUNDS, AWARDS AND INDEMNITIES - - - - - -$ 2,000.00
Section 2. The COMMON COUNCIL finds the existence of an
extraordinary emergency requiring the appropriation of the
funds as aforesaid.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the COMMON COUNCILS its
approval by the Mayor, and the fullfillment of all statutory
requirements relating to emergency appropriations*
