AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $300,00 FROM
ACCOUNT NUMBER G-1322 ABSTRACTING, OFFICE OF CITY
ATTORNEY, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER G -11, SALARY OF CLERK,
OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY; AND THE SUM OF $500.00
FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 58 -B, BUILDING CONTINGENT FUND,
OFFICE OF BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, TO
ACCOUNT NUMBER H -726, OFFICE EQUIPMENT, OFFICE OF
BOARD OF PUBLIC.WORKS AND SAFETY, AND DECLARING AN
EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the following money be, and the same hereby is,
transferred from Account Number 0-132, Abstracting, Office of City Attorney,
to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary
item in the budget of the Office of City Attorney of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, for the year 1948, to kit: To Account Number G -110 Salary of Clerk,
Office of City Attorney, $300.00.
Section 2* That the following money be, and the same hereby is,
transferred from Account Number 58 -B, Building Contingent Fund, Office of
Board of Public Works and Safety, to, and is appropriated for the uses and
purposes of the following budgetary item in the budget of the Office of Board
pf Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year
19489, to -witr To Account Number H -725, Office Equipment, Office of Board!of
Public works and Safety, $500.00.
Section $* That the above funds are required for the proper operation
and function of the aforementioned Office of City Attorney and of the Board
of Public Works and Safety, and an extraordinary emergency is declared to
exist concerning the foregoing transfers and appropriations*
Section 49 That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and
the fulfillmeat of all statutory requirements relating to extraordinary
emergency appropriations*
