AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $300000 FROM
ACCOUNT NUMBER W -333, TIRES AND TUBES, BOARD OF
HEALTH, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER W -36, OFFICE SUPPLIES,
BOARD OF HEALTH, AND THE FURTHER SUM OF $200000
FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER W:3440 MEDICAL SUPPLIES,
BOARD OF HEALTH, TO ACCOUNT NUMBER W-Ze$ OFFICE
SUPPLIES, BOARD OF HEALTH, AND DECLARING AN
EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Section l0 That the following money be,and the same hereby is,
transferred from A000unt Number W -333, Tires and Tubes, Board of Healthy
to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following
budgetary item in the budget of the Board of Health of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1948, to -wits To Account Number
W -38, Office Supplies, Board of Health, $3000000
Section 20 That the following money be, and the same hereby is,
transferred from Account Number W -344, Medical Supplies, Board of Health,
to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following
budgetary item in the budget of the Board of Health of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1948, to -wit: To Account Number
W-381, Office Supplies, Board of Health, $200.000
Section 30 That the above funds are required for the proper
operation and function of the aforementioned Board of Health, and an
extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing
transfer and appropriation*
Section 4o That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to
extraordinary appropriations*
