AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
CONTROLLER AND THE CITY TREASURER TO TRANSFER ALL
MONIES NOW IN THE TRACK ELEVATION FUND TO THE GENERAL
FUND OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, for a number of years last past, the City Track
Elevation Fund$ approximating $3,000.00, has been dormant,
unused, and unencumbered; and
WHEREAS, said Fund was raised by levy and rate on all of
the taxable property of the City of South Bend, Indiana;
now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana, that:
Section 1. The City Controller and the City
Treasurer of the City of South Bend, Indiana, are hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to transfer all monies
designated as Track Elevation Fund to the General Fund
of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as provided for by
Chapter 137, page 434, Acts 1947, of the General Assembly
of the State of Indiana. (Burns 611201 --61 -1204)
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after passage by the Common Council
and its approval by the Common Council and its approval
by the Mayor.
