AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A GARBAGE COLLECTION
AND DISPOSAL CONTRACT MADE AND ENTERED INTO
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA
BY ITS BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND S!hTY,, AND
HERMAN F. WARCHTER OF SOUTH BENDt d/b as
DEPENDABLE DISP6SA COMPANY*
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Common Council of the City
Of South Bend, Indiana=
Section 1. That a contract made and entered into on
the 7th day of November$, 19 )+9,'by and between the City or South
Bond Indiana by and through its Board of Public Works and
Safety and Herman F. Vaeahterj doing business as the Dependable
Disposal Company of South Bend, for the collection and disposal
of garbage for the City of South Bend during the calendar years!
1950 1951 1952 1953 and 1954 for the -sum of THREE HUNDRED FIFTY
SEVEk THOtgAND FiVi, HUNDREM357,500.00) DOLLARS, payable in
one hundred twenty(120) installments, a copy of,whieh is hereto
attached and made a part hereof, be and the same is hereby in all
things confirmed$ ratified and approved*
Section �L. That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and
its approval by the Mayor,
