BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
Section 1, That the following monies;be and the same
are hereby, transferred, namely; $ 36,050.0 from Account No, Q -11
Salaries, Fire Department, to, and are appropriated for the uses
and purposes of the following budgetary items in the budget of the
Fire Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana for year 1949,
to -wit:
Account No Q -262 Medical, Dental & Surgical Service
Account No. Q -322 Oil
Account No, Q -712 Buildings:
$ 11000.0
$ 50.01
$ 357000.00
Section 2. That the above sums of money are required
for the proper operation and function of the aforementioned Dep-
artment of the Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana, and
an extraordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the
foregoing transfers and appropriations.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory re-
quirements. relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations..
