AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A 1933 MODEL S;MMASER, BEARING
SERIAL NO. 1574579 MOTOR NO. Dw3252218•Ps A ROTARY-M TYPE PUMP
OF 600 CAPACITY, 8 CYLINDER, 6 TIRES, FIRS TRUCK, KNOWN AS NO. 89
OWNED BY THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend is the owner of a 1933 Model Studebaker
bearing Serial No* 1574579 Motor Noe D.3252218 -1'9 a Rotary 5brOarm Type Pump of
600 oapacity9 8 cylinders 6 tires, Fire Trucks known as No* 8; and
WBEREAS9 it is in the best interest of said City that the above described
personal property should be sold; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indianas
Section 1. That the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County, Indiana,
be requested to appoint three disinterested freeholders of the City of South Bends
Indiaae9 to appsifee a 1933 Model Studebaker, bearing Serial No* 157457* Motor No*
D*3252218+P9 a Rotary 3bmWi n Type Pump of 600 capacity, 8 cylinder, 6 tires, Fire
Truck# known as Noe 89 which personal property is now owndd by the municipal Civil
City of South Bend*
Section 20 That the City of South Bend sell., assign, transfer, and deliver
by proper instruments in writing.to.saW purchaser thereof the personal property
hereimbove described for not lose than the full appraised value thersofs as
reported by the appraisers appointed by the Judge of the Circuit Court of Ste
Joseph County* Indiana; and the Mayer Is hereby ordered, directed.and authorised
to execute and deliver to such purchaser or purchasers thereof, upon the payment
of the appraised value thereof, a good and sufficient certificate of %%00 and /or
a bill of sale, and this shall be sufficient authority.to him in said premises*
Section 3* That this ordinance shall be in full force and offset from and
after its passage by the Common-Council and approval by the Mayor*
