CITY PLAN COMMISSION
October 3, 1952
To The Common Council
City of South Bend, Indiana
Gentlemen:-
Petition for change of zoning of 51 lots in Oliver's
Second Addition from light industrial to residence
district was given public hearing at the regular
meeting of the City Plan Commission September 4,
1952.
As was disclosed at the hearing the objective sought
by the petitioners is the control of traffic through
the streets of that area rather than control of the
use of the property. The City Plan Commission is not
in position to control or to authorize the control of
street traffic.
This change is not recommended.
Yours truly,
D. P oomaw- Secretary
