ORDINANCE ANNE)IING LANDS TO AND DECLARING
SAME TO BE A PART OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON GOVNCIL OF THE CITY OF 8013TH BEND,
INDIANA:

That the following described territory and land in St. Joseph
County., State of Indiana, be and the same is hereby annexed to and de-
Glared to be a part of the said City of South Bend:
Beginning at a point One Hundred Sixty -five (165)
feet West of the center of Gertrude Street which
is the present West 11 n e of the city, and Two
Hundred feet South of the center of Ewing Avenue;
thence South One Thousand One Hundred Four and
Two- tenths (1104.2) feet, thence West twenty -two (22)
feet, thence North One Thousand One Hundred Four and
Two- tenths (1104.2) feet, thence East to the place of
beginning.
Section 2:
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal publication.

City of South Bend, Indiana
Gentlemen—
Petition of Whitcomb & Keller Inc. for annexation
of a strip of land 22 feet x 1104.2 feet west of Rum Village
park, adjacent to and a part of their Rum Village.
Addition has been considered by the City Plan
Commission at their regular meeting August 7, 1952.
This annexation is recommended as petitioned for.

We, the undersigned, hereby petition for the annexation
to the City of South Bend, the following small parcel of
land:
Beginning at a point 165 feet West of the center
of Gertrude Street, w4lcb is the present West line
of the city, and feet south of the center
of Ewing Avenue; thence SouthJ10#'4`feet, thence West
