ORDINANCE ANNEXING LANDS TO AND DECIAR»
ING SAME TO BE A PART OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1:
That the following described territory and land in St.
Joseph County, State of Indisn a, be and the same is hereby an-
nexed to and declared to be a part of the said City of South Bend
Beginning at a point on the present city limits 680.76
ft, east of the center of section 5 To 37 N. R. 3 East;
thence north 1301010 ft*; thence west 144.64 ft.; thence
north 1278 ft. to the north line of section 5 (center of
Edison Road); thence east el ong the north line of sec-
tion 5 a distance of 1695094 ft *; thence south 1286.60
ft.; thence east 216.48 ft* to a point 336 fto west of
the east line of section 5; thence south parallel with
and 336 ft. west of the east line of section 5 a dis-
tance of 1311.85 ft* to the east and west center line
of section 5; thence east 336 ft. to the east line of
section 5 (center line of Hickory Road) thence south
along the east line of section 5 a distance of 1193050
ft* to a point 1452 ft* north of the south line of sec-
tion 5; thence west parallel with and 1452 ft* north of
the south line of section 5 a distance of 1213.50 ft. to
the east line of McKinley Terrace Add* the present city
limits*
Section 2:
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its enactment, approval by the Mayor, and legal publi

of land north of McKinley Avenue adjoining McKinley Terrace

the annexation of this area is approved by them.
