RE: Residential Real Property Tax Abatement Petition for:

Dear Council Member King:
Please find attached the Department of Community & Economic Development's report on a residential
real property tax abatement petition for the above referenced petitioner, for thirty new single family
homes to be located on lots 100 through 129 of the Royal Oak Estates subdivision, Section 2. Also
attached is a copy of the petition, Statement of Benefits form and supporting information.
The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. D & H Home Builders
proposes to build thirty new homes on lots 100 through 129 of the Royal Oak Estates subdivision, Section
2. The homes will be between 1,700 and 3,000 sft. each with three to four bedrooms, two and a half
baths on a full basement with a two car attached garage. The cost for each new home is estimated to be
around $180,000, making the total project over $5,000,000. The project meets the qualifications for a
five (5) year residential real property tax abatement and a representative of D & H Home Builders will
be available to meet with the Committee on Monday, January 13, 2003.
