Dear Council Member King:
Please find attached the Department of Community & Economic Development's report on a residential real
property tax abatement petition for the above referenced petitioner, for 32 new single family homes to be
located at Jade Crossing. Also attached is a copy of the petition, Statement of Benefits form and supporting
information.
The report contains the Department's findings relative to the above petition. Cleland Builders, hlc. is
currently creating a new subdivision known as Jade Crossing, which is located just South of Brick Road

one to 1 %2 baths on a full basement with a two car attached garage. The cost for each new home is estimated
to be approximately $121,000. The project meets the qualifications for a five (5) year real property tax
abatement and a representative from Cleland Builders, Inc. will be available to meet with the Committee
on Monday, June 91", 2003.
