The Board of Public Safety met in a Special Executive Session on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 8:10
a.m. The meeting was held in the Board Conference Room, Ste. 1308, County City Building, 227
West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana for the purposes specified in I.C. 5- 14- 1.5- 6.1(b)(6)(A).
Board President Laura Vasquez and Board Members Eddie Miller and Daniel Jones were present.
Board Members John Collins and Luther Taylor were absent. Also present were Legal Counsel
Roland Chamblee, and Attorney Cory Hamel. Board members did not discuss any subject matter
other than the subject matter as specified in the Public Notice. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 a.m.

The Board of Public Safety met in a Special Meeting at 8:34 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 with
Board President Laura Vasquez and Board Members Eddie Miller and Daniel Jones present. Board
Members John Collins and Luther Taylor were absent. Also present were Legal Counsel Roland
Chamblee, Attorney Cory Hamel, and Attorney Doug Grimes. The meeting was held in the Board
Conference Room, Ste. 1308, County City Building, 227 West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
HEARING OF DISCIPLINARY CHARGES — JACK STILP
This was the date set for the Hearing of the charges against Patrolman Jack Stilp. A Court Reporter
was present from Midwest Reporting to record the Hearing.
