A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
PUBLICLY HONORING SOUTH BEND'S DISTRICT 11 ALL STARS WHO CAPTURED THE 2014 SENIOR
SOFTBALL WORLD SERIES CROWN AND ARE NOW THE USA CENTRAL CHAMPIONS
CA6w�, the City of South Bend, Indiana, notes that the 2014 Senior League Softball World Series was held
at the Lower Sussex Little League Complex in Sussex County, Delaware in August; and
� the City of South Bend, Indiana, further notes that the 2014 Senior League Softball World Series
was for girls ages 14 to 16 years of age; with each of the teams playing in Delaware having won their regional
championship and earning the right to compete in the World Series; and
CA6" the Common Council notes USA Central was in the Pool B
Division and posted six (6) wins and no losses, with the Championship Game resulting in USA Central beating
USA West from Missoula, Montana by a score of 5 -0; and
CXA; " on behalf of our entire community, the South Bend Common Council is honored to recognize each
of the players, coaches and manager of the victorious South Bend District 11 All Stars representing the USA
Central Champions:

Section I. The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, publicly honors each of the players, coaches
and managers of South Bend's District 11 All Stars who won the 2014 Senior Softball World Series and are the USA
Central Champions; the only team since 1997, to win the Little League Senior League World Series Championship in
consecutive years!!
Section II. A very special thanks and recognition is given to all of the parents, volunteers, friends, and sponsors
who donated their time, resources and guidance to make this a great season which created life -time memories for so many;
as the girls' hard work and dedication took them all the way to winning the championship in Sussex County, Delaware.
Section III. The Council recognizes that each of the members of this great All -Star team represent our City with
sportsmanship and class, as epitomized by the role models that each of them have become. CONGRATULATIONS!
Section IV. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its ajepilgn by the Council and approval
