AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CONTRACTS MADE AND
ENTERED INTO ON BEHALF OF THE WATER WORKS
UTILI ^1Y OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
BY ITS BOARD OF WATER WORKS COMMISSIONERS,
FOR THE FOLLOWING: CONTRACT DESCRIBED AS
CONTRACT "No. 1 -B" WITH CARL J. REINKE &
SONS, OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION.OF ONE (1) WELL HOUSE, INCLUDING
ALL APPURTENANCES, FOR THE SUM OF FIVE THOUSAND
EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY ($5,850.00) DOLLARS; AND
CONTRACTS DESCRIBED AS CONTRACTS "NO. 1 -A" AND
"NO. 1 -C`', WITH LAYNE- NOR^1HERN COMPANY, INC.,
OF MISHAWAKA.. INDIANA, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF ONE (1) GRAVEL WALL TYPE WELL, INCLUDING
ALL APPURTENANCES, FOR THE SUM OF TWELVE
THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TEN ($12,610.00) DOLLARS;
AND FOR INSTALLING ONE (1) DEEP WELL TURBINE
PUMP, INCLUDING ALL ACCESSORIES AND APPURTENANCES,
FOR THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY
($3,990.00) DOLLARS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
Section 1. That the following Contracts entered into
by the City Water Works. Department, through its Board of Water
Works Commissioners, copies of which are on file in the office
of said Board, be and the same are hereby in all things confirmed,
ratified and approved:
