WHBRESSo in the preparation of the compilation. and setting up of the
budget for the year of 1950, it was deemed proper and necessary for reasons
of more effioienti,superviseryi and regulatory functioning of the City
Goverment#' to transfer.two'olsrks from the Police Department to the Office
of the City Clerks and
MMREASS in said 1960 Dbmioipal Divi1 City Budget of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, two (2) Traffic Clerks were transferred from the
Department: of Police to,the_Offioe of the City Clerk at an annual salary of
o1,916e64 eaohs and
MRMS the salary of one of said two (2) Traffic Clerks should
have been. sot :_up at 20299*97 smivally, being the,spm salary as provided for
in previous budgetss therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the - Common_Council of -the City of South Bend, Indianat
Ssction.l. That the am of Three.Hlsndred Eighty Three Dollars sad
Thirtylrthree cents ($363.33) be and. the same hereby s appropriated from the
General Fund of.the.Yuniolpal Civil City of. South bends Indiana, to, and Is
•ppropriated for the uses and purposes of the.following:budgetary item in the
mount.and to.the office set forth here aafter.in the budget.for the year

ordinance is required and necessary for the proper and efficient operation
and funotion.ef the aforementioned. Office of the Government of the municipal
Civil City of South Bend, Indiana$ and an extraordinary., emergency hereby is
declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriation.
