HomeMy WebLinkAboutReducing Certain Items in the Sun of $1,860.00 in the 1950 Budget, Traffic Dept. and Appropriating said Amount to Other Items of the 1950 BudgetORDINANCE No Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, 19350 Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Ind'ana Approved and signed by JUKE 13TH, IP 4MI07 Clerk of Common Council City Clerk ORDINANCE NO., AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE SUM OF $1,860.00 IN THE 1950 BUDGET OF THE TRAFFIC DEPART- MENT AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT TO OTHER ITEMS OF THE 1950 BUDGET OF SAID DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the following items in the 1950 Traffic Department budget of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, be, and the same are thereby reduced in the amounts herein indicated, to -wit: Account No. T -215 Transportation Allowance $ 160.00 Account No. T -261 Other Contractural Services 4300.00 Account No. T -262 Refinishing Old Traffic Signs 400,00 Section 2. That the sum of $1,860.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated from the Street and Traffic Fund of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in the budget of the Traffic Department of the City of South Bend, Indiana, for the year 1950, to -wit: Account No, T -44 General Materials $ 400,00 Account No. T -724 Motor Equipment 1,460.00 Section 3. That the sums of money, enumerated in Section 2 of this ordinance are required for the proper and efficient operation and function of the aforemention- ed department of the Government of the City of South Bend, Indiana and an ex- traordinary emergency is declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriations. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council its approval by the Mayor and the ful- fillments of all Statutory requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations.
