Afflb�7 Clerk ORDINANCE NO.� AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE 1950 SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF EIGHT THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED 08,600.00) DOLLARS; AND ALSO APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL STREET AND ^1RAFFIC FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TEN (156,110.00) DOLLARS, ALL TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1950 BUDGET OF THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 1. That the following items in the 1950 budget of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Offices and Departments indicated in this Section, be, and the same hereby are, reduced in the amounts herein below stated, to -wit: SEWER DEPARTMENT: J -262, Repairs to Sewer Replacements 635,000.00 BUILDING DEPARTMENT: M -216, Travel Expense S 100.00 FIRE DEPARTMENT: 0 -110 Personal Services $2,000.00 ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: V -38, General Supplies $1,500.00 STREET DEPARTMENT: S -724, Motor Equipment ;1,110.00 Section 2. That the sum of Eioht Thousand Sir. Hundred ($2,600.00) Dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated from the General Fund of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in the amounts and to the Offices and Departments set forth below, in this Section in the budget for the year 1950, to -wit: OFFICE OF CONTROLLER: B -53, Refunds, Awards and Indemnities v 800.00 OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY: G -11, Services, Personal (Clerk) 100.00 OFFICE OF THE BOARD: H -51, Insurance and Premiums 300.00 fat R 2nd READING ODMMITTEE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING 3rd READING NOT A ?PROVED REFERRED PIZED ll—c9-- ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: L -214, Telegraph and Telephone 30.00 BUILDING DEPARTMENT: M -36, Office Supplies :, 100.00 POLICE DEPARTMENT: P -214, Telegraph and Telephone v 350.00 FIRE DEPARTMENT: Q-214, Telegraph and Telephone 25.00 0, -221, Electric Current 3 300.00 ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT: v -214, Telegraph and Telephone 3 95.00 7-251, Repairs to Buildings and Structures (Roof) 111,500.00 STREET DEPARTMENT: S- General Street and Traffic Fund ',;5,000.00 Section 3. That the sum of Six Thousand One Hundred Ten (:6,110.00) Dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated from the General Street and Traffic Fund of the Municipal. Civil City of South Bend, Indiana,.to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of.the following budgetary items to the Department and in the amounts set forth below, in this Section, in the budget for the year 1950, to -wit: STREET DEPARTMENT: 5 -43, Materials, Street and Alley 515,000.00 S -214, Telegraph and Telephone 110.00 S -321, Coal and Fuel Oil '51,000.00 Section 4. That the sum of monies, enumerated in Sections 2 and 3 of this Ordinance, are required and necessary for the proper and efficient operation and function of the aforementioned Offices and Departments of the Government of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriations. Section 5.
