1950 SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY
BUDGET; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GEIv'ERAL FUIv7D
OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF ELEVEN THOUSAND AND EIGHTY -
TWO DOLLARS 0111082.00); AND ALSO APPROPRIATING
FROM THE GENERAL STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND OF SAID CITY
THE SUM OF FOUR THOUSAND DINE HUNDRED DOLLARS 047900.00)7
ALL TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY IT14S OF THE 1950 BUDGET
OF THE MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND
DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EtiETRGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
Section 1. That the following items in the 1950 budget of
the Municipal Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Offices
and Departments indicated in this Section, be, and the same are
hereby, reduced in the amounts herein below stated, to-wit:

Section 2. That the sum of Eleven Thousand and Eighty -
two Dollars ($11,082.00) be, and the same hereby is appropriated
from the General Fund of the Municipal Civil City of South Bend,
Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the
following budgetary items in the amounts and to the Offices and
Departments set forth below, in this Section, in the budget for
the year 1950, to -wit:

Section 3. That the sum of Four Thousand Nine Hundred
Dollars (34,900.00) be, and the same hereby is appropriated from
the General Street and Traffic Fund of the Municipal Civil City
of South Fend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and
purposes of the following budgetary items to the Department and
in the amounts set forth below, in this Section, in the budget for
the year 1950, to- wit:

Section 4. That the sum of monies, enumerated in Sections
2 and 3 of this Ordinance, are required and necessary for the
proper and efficient operation and fun('tionodf'_.the aforementioned
offices and Departments of the Government of the Municipal Civil
City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary emergency is
hereby declared to exist concerning the foregoing appropriations.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force, and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements relating to extraordinary emergency appropriations.
