BE IT ORDAINED by Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: Section 19 That Section 64, of Chapter 29s of Ordinance No. 3709, approved July 12, 194.9, and commonly known as the "Municipal Code of the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1949 "s be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 64. The coins deposited in parking meters be, and the same, are hereby appropriated to the Board of Public Works and Safety, and are required and shall be used to defray the expense of proper re« gulation of traffic upon the public streets of the city, to provide for the cost of supervision, regulation and control of parking of vehicles in parking meter zones, to cover cost of purchase, supervision, protec. tion, inspection, operation, maintenance, control and use of parking meters, and for such other purposes as are provided, set forth and designated by Burns Stat. 1933, Secs. 48 «507, 48 »508, and Senate Enrolled Act N ®s 171, the same being Chapter 303 of Acts of Indiana General Assembly, 1951. Section 2. This oo?dinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval of the Mayor.
