HomeMy WebLinkAboutReducing Certain Item in the 1951 Budget and Appropriating from General Fund $1,000.00ORDINANCE No. 3817 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Igl Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana Approved and signed by MAX 15TH, I(# Clerk of Common Council Clerk -NM107 ORDINANCE N0. 3817 AN ORDINANCE REDUCING A CERTAIN ITEM IN THE 1951 SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CIVIL CITY BUDGET; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND.OF.SAID CITY THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND ($1,000.00) DOLLARS TO A CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEM OF THE 1951 BUDGET OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1. That the following item in the 1951 budget of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, in the Department indicated in this Section, be, and the same hereby is, reduced in the amount herein below stated, to -wit: FIRE DEPARTMENT Q -11 Services, Personal x¢1,000.00 Section 2, That the sum of One Thousand ($12000.00) Dollars, be, and the same is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is appropriated for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in the amount and to the Department set forth below, in this Section, in the budget for the year 1951, to -wit: FIRE DEPARTMENT Q -38 Supplies, General $1,000.00 Section 3. That the sum of money enumerated in Section 2 of this ordinance, is required and necessary for the proper efficient operation and function of the aforementioned Department of the Govern- ment of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, and an extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist concerning the foregoing appro- priation. Section 1+.
