AN ORDINANCE AMENDING GENERAL ORDINANCE 3709
BEING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA BY THE ADDITION OF SECTION 26 OF
CHAPTER 30 THEREOF EXTENDING THE JURISDICTION
AND AUTHORITY OF THE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS
OF SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of Ahe City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION 1: The Board of Park Commissioners of the City of
South Bend,Indiana is hereby authorized and empowered to take over and
control and do the planting and trimming of all shade.trees and the
planting, maintenance and establishment of all lawns :izi centers in r ,.
all public highways in the Park District of the City of South
Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall constitute Section 26 of
Chapter 30 of General Ordinance NO-3709 being the Vnnn&bipal Code of the
City of South Bend,Indiana of 1949.
SECS This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
