AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GEidERAL
FUND THE SUM OF SIXTEEN RUmi RED EIGHTY ($1,680,00)
DOLLARS TO CERTAIN BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1952
BUDGET OF THE CIVIL, CITY OF SOUTH BEND, IND.
AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Section 1. That the sum of Sixteen Hundred Eighty ($1,680.00)
Dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated from the general fund of the
Civil City of South Bend, Indiana, to, and is hereby appropriated for, the
uses and purposes of the following budgetary items in the amounts and to the
departments set forth below in this Section in the budget for the year 1952,
to-wit:
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT:
Services - Personal
V -11. Salary of Superintendent - - - - - - - - - - -$ 240,00
Salary of Assistant Superintendent - - - - - 2140.00
Salary of Linemen (5(& $240) - - - - - - - - - 1200.00
Total Services Personal - - - - - - - - - $1680.00
Section 2. That the sum of monies enumerated in Section 1 of this
Ordinance is required and necessary for the proper and efficient operation and
function of the aforementioned department of the Government of the Civil City
if South Bend,Ind., and an extraordinary emergency is hereby declared to exist
concerning the foregoing appropriation.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor,
and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relative to extraordinary
emergency appropriations.
