AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS
FROM POLICE DEPARTDTNT P -11
SALARIES $5000.00 TO P -334, OTHER
GARAGE AND MOTOR SUPPLIES; AND
FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT P -11
SALARIES $1000.00 TO P -261
MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE.
BE IT ORDAIIvED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. The sum of $5000.00 is hereby transferred from Police Department
P -11 Salaries to P -334 Other Garage and Motor Supplies; and the sum of $1000.0
is hereby transferred from Police Department P -11 Salaries to P -261 Mechanical
Assistancet all of the budget for the year 1953 of the Civil City of South
Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II. The above funds are required for the proper operation and functio
ing of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year 1953 and
an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropriations
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfill-
ment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency appropriations.
