G$ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF PMSONAL PROPERTY OWH@D BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I: That the following items of personal property be appraised and sold by the Board of Water Works Commissioners for not less than the full appraised value thereof: 1 - Allis- Chalmers high duty 5,000,000 gallon per 24 hour, 42 r.p.m. 1411 x 360 plunger type out- side packed horizontal pump - direct connected to Allis- Chalmers horizontal engine - size 1811 & 400 x 360 stroke - serial # 208 and 862. 1 - Allis - Chalmers high duty 5,000,000 gallon per 24 hour, 42 r.p.m. 140 x 360 plunger type out- side packed horizontal pump - direct connected to Allis - Chalmers horizontal engine - size 180 & 400 x 360 stroke - serial # 209 and 863. 1 - 171 h.p. Erie City type #1- C-168P 3 -drum water tube boiler in brick setting - 200# steam pressure - battery - stoker firing, each boiler has 336 tubes - ;$0 diam. #12 gauge BWG - each drum 340 diam. - 8t50 long - shell thickness 23/320 - head thickness 9/160 and 5[811 - one manhole each drum 2 sets Diamond model #G2 independently valved soot blowers. Serial #711344, Model # Y.E. 4, Size and cylinder 30 x 320, S.P.C.O. -39329 Air- cooled. 1 - Safe - Cabinet standard ME type 400 x 340 x 660 high steel safe with 2 sectional 30 x 50 card files - 30 drawers. 60 Addressograph plate drawers - combination lock. 1 Safe Cabinet'36n x 341, s 66" high steel safe with 120 Addressograph plate drawers — combination lock. 1 — Sears Roebuck portable 4 cu.£t, concrete miser — direct connected to la H.P. Briggs & Stratton air — cooled gasoline engine — all mounted on 2 wheel pneumatic tired trailer. SECTION II. That the Judge of the St.Joseph Circuit Court be requested to appoint three (3) disinterested freeholders of the City of South Bend, Indiana to appraise said property hereinabove described. SECTION III. That the said Board of Water Works Commissioners, subject to such terms and conditions as said Board shall determine, shall sell and deliver said property to any purchaser or purchasers thereof upon payment of the purchase price in full, but for not less than the full appraised value thereof. SECTION IV. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor.
