AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY, H -58B9
BUILDING CONTINGENCIES, $236.48 TO FIRE
DEPARTMENT, Q -7121 OTHER STRUCTURES;
FROM STREET DEPARTMENT, S -131 EXTRA AND
OVERTIME, $216.00 TO STREET DEPARTMENT,
S -11� SALARIES; FROM STREET DEPARTMENT,
S -121 HOURLY WORKERS, SALARY OF MECHANIC,
$4016.00 TO STREET DEPARTMENT, S -119
REGULAR SALARY, ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR
THE YEAR 1953 OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil
City of South Bend, Indiana;
SECTION 1. The following monies be, and the same
hereby are, transferred from Board of Public Works
and Safety, H -58B, Building Contingencies, $236.48_
To Fire Department, Q -712, Other Structures; From
Street Department, S -13, Extra and Overtime, $216.00
To Street Department, S -11, Salaries; From Street
Department, S -12, Hourly Worker, Salary of Mechanic,
$4 316.00 To Street Department, S -11, Regular salary,
Ali of the budget for the year 1953 of the Civil City
of South Bend, Indiana
SECTION 2. The above funds are required for the
proper operation and functioning of the aforementioned
departments under the budget for the year 1953 and
an emergency is declared to exist concerning the fore-
going transfers and appropriations.
SECTION This Ordinance shall be in full force
and e fect from and after its passage by the Common
Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements relating to emergency
appropriations.
