AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM P -11,
POLICE DEPARTMENT SALARY FUND, TO P -726,
POLICE DEPARTMENT OTHER EQUIPMENT FUND, $129000,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,Indiam,
That:
SECTION 1. The following monies be, and the same hereby are, trans-
ferred from P -11, Police Department Salary Fund, to and are appropriated
for the uses and purposes of the following budgetary item in the budget
of the City of South Bend for the year 1952, to —wit: To P -726 Police
Department Other Equipment, $12,000.
SECTION 2. The above funds are required for the proper operation
and function of the aforementioned department and an emergency is
declared to exist concerning the foregoing transfer and appropriation.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor
and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements relating to emergency
appropriations,
