AN ORDINANCE AIv1ENDINC SECTIONS 55 an 59 OF CHAPTER 29 OF
ORDINANCE 3709 APPROVED JULY 12,1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS
"MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1949."
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana:
SECTION I.
That Section 55 of Chapter 29 of Ordinance 3709, approved July 12,
1949, and commonly known as the UMUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, 1949" be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
SEC.55. ZONES
The following names and designated areas, streets or portion of
streets and such other areas, streets, or portions of streets as may here-
after be included in this section by amendment hereto, lying within the
corporate limits of the city, shall constitute and are hereby established as
Parking Meter zones, and all frontage in such squares, streets or avenue
defining the zones to be included therein, namely:
Michigan St. from Marion St. to Bronson St.
Michigan St.. the east side thereof, from Bronson St. to Ohio St.
Michigan St., the west side thereof, from Bronson St. to Garst St.
Main St. from Madison St. to Monroe St,
Lafayette Blvd. from Madison St. to South St.
St.Joseph St. from Lincoln Way East to South St.
LaSalle Ave, from William St, to east end of St,Joseph River bridge
Colfax Ave. from A chigan St, to William St.
Washington Ave. from William St. to Artesian Ave.
Jefferson Blvd, from William St, to west end of St.Joseph River bridge
Wayne St. from William St. to Carroll St.
Western Ave, from Michigan St. to Taylor St.
Monroe St, from William St. to St.Joseph St.
South St. from Main St. to St,Joseph St.
Lincoln Way East from Washington Ave. to Columbia St,
Lincoln Way West from LaSalle Ave, to William St,
Franklin St. from Wayne St. to Monroe St.
Carroll St. from Lincoln Way East to Wayne St.
Madison St. from Lafayette Blvd, to a point 180 ft. east of Michigan St.
Franklin St. from Washington Ave. to Jefferson Blvd.
SECTION II•
That Section 59 (b) of Chapter 29 of Ordinance 3709 approved July
12,1949, and commonly known as the „MUNICIPAL CODE OF TEE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, 194911, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
