EVELYN M. HENNESSY,
Gentlemen:

The petition of the Taube Printing Corporation to rezone
Lots numbered 40, 41, and 42 of the Revised Plat of
Oakland Park, which land is situated on the northeast
corner of Northside Boulevard and Emerson Avenue, from
"B" Residential Use District to I'D" Light- industrial Use
District and 'IF" Height and Area District, was referred
from the Council under date of June 13, 1955, legally
advertised under date of June 27, 1955, and.-pliblic
hearing by the Planning Commission under date of July 7, '55.
The Commission found that because of peculiarities of the
site and surrounding properties industrial use on said lots
would in no way interfere with tr adversely influence surround-
ing properties. The Commission also found that industrial use
on subject properties would, in effect, act as a buffer between
residential lots to the east and the light - industrial use to
the west of subject lots.
It was, therefore, moved, seconded, and carried that the
petition be recommended favorably to the Common Council.
