AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
HB IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I: The following sums of money are hereby transferred and appropriate
from R -251 Repairs to Public City Scales $110.00 and from R -252 Repairs to
Equipment $150.00 and from R -333 Tires and Tubes $40.00 to R -726 Other Equip-
ment $300.00; from V -38 General Supplies $725.00 to H -58B Building Contingeneil
$725.00; from W -261 Other Contractual Services $370.00 to W -132 Plumbing
Examinations $5.040 and to W -133 Rat Extermination $200.00 and to W -214
Telephone and Telegraph $120.00; from W -38 General Supplies $750.00 and from
11-334 Other Garage and Motor Supplies $750.00 to W -724 Motor Equipment $1500.0
and from K -11 Salary of Assistant Pound Master $812.00'to K -11 Salary of
Pound Master $812.00; all of the budget for the year 1954 of the Civil City of
South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II: The above funds are required for the proper operatign and
functioning of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year
and an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropr
SEMION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment
all statutory requirements relating to-vnqrgency, appropriations.
