AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING FUNDS
FROM P11 POLICE SALARY $800.00 TO
P724 MOTOR EQUIPMENT $800,00; FROM
Sll STREET DEPARTMENT SALARY $2200.00
TO S12 HOURLY WORKERS $2200.00; FROM
J12 SEWER. DEPARTMENT SALARY $6,000.00
TO J13 SEWER DEPARTMENT OVERTIME
$2,000.00 AND TO S13 STREET DEPARTMENT
OVERTIME $4,000.00; FROM J724 SEWER
DEPARTMENT MOTOR EQUIPMENT $2300.00
TO 5214 STREET DEPARTMENT TELEPHONE
$300.00 AND 5321 STREET DEPARTMENT
COAL AND FUEL OIL $29000.00; ALL OF
THE BUDGET FOR 1953 OF THE CIVIL
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana:
SEGTION I. The following sums of money are hereby transferred as follows:
from P11 Police Salary $800.00 to P724 Motor Equipment $800.00; from S11 Street
Department Salary $2200.00 to S12 Hourly Workers $2200.00; from J12 Sewer
Department Salary $6,000.00 to J13 Sewer Department Overtime $2,000.00 and to
S13 Street Department Overtime $4,000.00; from J724 Sewer Department Motor
Equipment $2300.00 to B214 Street Department Telephone $300.00 and S321 Street
Department Coal and Fuel Oil $2,000.00; all of the budget for the year 1953
of the Civil City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II. The above funds are required for the proper operation and function
ing of the aforementioned Departments under the budget for the year 1953 and
an emergency is declared to exist concerning said transfers and appropriations.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and after it
passage by the Common Council,,its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment
of all statutory requirements relating to emergency appropriations.
